THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF
CIRCUMCISION AVAILABLE

Mohelim are often sought after by individuals outside of the Jewish community for their prized expertise in circumcision. For example, Queen Elizabeth II entrusted her prince, who would become King Charles III, to an expert Mohel for his circumcision.

In a hospital setting, circumcisions typically involve longer and more painful preparations. At the hospital, parents can expect to be barred from being with their baby before, during and after the surgery for about an hour.

A Mohel's procedure, using the protective Magen, typically lasts less than 15 seconds, with no need for parents to be distanced for even a moment. Unlike with Gomco or Plastibell methods, the Magen technique results in circumcisions that are tailored to each patient’s unique contours.

A skilled Mohel specializing in circumcisions performs a considerably higher number of circumcisions than most urologists in this field.

Eighth Day Circumcision

Infants (On Their 8th Day)The ideal choice for most healthy baby boys. Circumcision at this age yields optimal results with the most rapid healing. In His command to Abraham (Genesis 17:12) and as reiterated to Moses (Leviticus 12:3), the Master of the Universe designated this age as a most opportune time, with many layers of beneficial wisdom. To ensure availability, please reach out prior to birth.

Circumcision For Infants

Infants (Newborn - 6 Weeks)The ideal choice for optimal healing. Scheduling is flexible, including Sunday and early evening hours, to accommodate your needs.

Circumcision for Babies

Babies (6 Weeks - 2 Years)Although the healing is less quick, sutures are still not necessary to achieve good results and healing at this stage of development.

Children

(2 Years - 12 Years)Scheduling is flexible, including Sunday and early evening hours, to accommodate your needs. Many parents opt to schedule the procedure during school vacations. The circumcision is performed under local anesthetic to ensure a pain-free experience.

Adolescents and Teenage Circumcision

Teenagers (13 Years - 17 Years)The ideal choice for school-age children. Scheduling is flexible, including Sunday and early evening hours, to accommodate your needs. Many parents opt to schedule the procedure during school vacations. The circumcision is performed under local anesthetic to ensure a pain-free experience.

Adult Circumcision

(Adults 18-99)Adult circumcision can be conducted at any stage of life for various reasons, including religious, lifestyle adjustments, marriage, hygiene, and health considerations. The procedure is carried out under local anesthetic to ensure a pain-free experience.

Circumcision Repair

Circumcision Modifications & RevisionsIn some cases, particularly after a hospital circumcision, the results may not appear aesthetically pleasing, or the individual may still exhibit characteristics of being uncircumcised. In such instances, adjustments or corrections can be made to attain satisfactory outcomes.
